I may only be in my 3rd year of teaching, but I have been a proud member of the Minnesota Association of Family and Consumer Sciences since I was in Grad School. I very much credit this organization for a great deal of my success in the FACS world. The women I have formed relationships with in this organization have helped to mold me into the FACS loving professional I am today and I look forward to learning more and more from them. They are inspiring and strong, and this rubs off on me during each and every meeting.

If you are looking for a national FACS organization there is AAFCS. If you join a state affiliate such as MAFCS you are automatically a member. This grants you access to resources and subscription to their research journal. http://www.aafcs.org
